GreyKeel Partner, Byron Crowe, will serve as a judge in Cornell Law School’s 2025 Transactional Lawyering Competition. The competition, to be held at the Cornell Ithaca campus on November 8th and 9th, is a moot-court-style contest for students who plan to become transactional lawyers. It is one of the only intramural competitions of its kind in the country. Students are divided into teams, representing different parties to a transaction, and engage in mock negotiations. They are then judged by a distinguished panel of deal lawyers from around the country. The students are graded on their revisions to transaction documents and their ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of their respective clients.
