Specialist Support
The network of specialists we work with to support our clients is not a formal organization or association. The network of specialists we work with changes over time and is comprised of attorneys that one or more members of our team know and/or have worked with previously. These specialists are not employees of GreyKeel, P.C. They are either (a) partners or employees of another law firm or (b) solo practitioners.
If an outside specialist we work with is a partner or employee of another law firm, then, unless otherwise disclosed to a client as part of an engagement, our firm has no formal affiliation with that other law firm. The nature of our relationship with any such law firm may be that we (a) refer their specialist(s) work that our clients need help with and/or (b) hire that firm for certain specialist expertise and pass through their bill to our client (similar to a subcontractor). However, the exact nature of the relationship is determined as part of a client’s engagement with GreyKeel, P.C., based on the client’s needs. In any case, all such arrangements with an outside specialist and his or her firm must be in conformance with all applicable ethic requirements–including, where applicable, receiving a client’s informed consent.
While we strive to ensure that we have a network of outside specialists available to support our clients’ work with us, outside specialists in a particular area may, in some cases, not be available due to a conflict of interest or another reason (e.g., a leave of absence).

Throughout this site, any reference to a “Partner” of the firm indicates that the individual being referred to is a shareholder of the firm. The firm is not organized as a partnership. However, each shareholder of the firm holds the officer title of “Partner”.
